Halloween Hunt

Halloween Hunt is an annual series of special event servers for Travian Kingdoms. Beginning 2019, every year in october special halloween themed servers started with special features in place. Additionally, all Halloween Hunt servers by now were 5x speed (3x troop speed).

Featureset

• Mist's special rules from HaHu 2019 apply in 2020 aswell.
  • Unlike HaHu 2019, the combat simulator can handle the rules now.
  • Incoming and outgoing chiefings into/from the mist have a changed big party bonus: -11/+11 reduced loyalty instead of -5/+5
  • Incoming catapult attacks can not target buildings, but will always shoot randomly
  • Incoming scout attacks are "less effective" (although it is unclear by how much)
  • Outgoing raids, attacks and sieges are stronger (although it is unclear by how much)

• Three new achievements
  • Anvil: Provide 250k/1M/2.5M/5M/10M defensive strength when defending (only own army counts; animals do not count; smithy/hero bonus applies, wall/water ditch doesn't )
  • Hammer: Perform an attack with at least 250k/1M/2.5M/10M attack power in a single attack
  • I shall pass!: Destroy 20/100/500/2500/5000 wall levels
  • They are only obtainable on the HaHu servers

• Halloween masks are unlockable, which can be used on any gameworld
• Spiders and bats have a higher spawn rate (roughly 5x)
• Spiders and bats have triple combat strength

• Another set of community challanges is available, which will unlock different rewards
  • Both gameworlds will work together to achieve the goals
• There is a new package in the shop, exclusive for halloween worlds

Exclusive shop offer

On Halloween Hunt 2020 gameworlds, a new exclusive shop offer was introduced. It contains the following:

Vouchers:

• 5x NPC Trader voucher
• 5x Instant Finish voucher
• 5x Free cardgame rolls

Hero items:

• 200 Cages
• 1 Halloween mask

Resources:

• 3x Medium pile of wood
• 3x Medium pile of clay
• 3x Medium pile of iron

Note: 1 Medium pile is 2000 resources, so the package grants a total of 3 x 3 x 2000 = 18000 resources.

The offer can be activated only once and costs 70 gold.

Visual only effects

• Heroes are zombified
• Total eclipse: The map is permanently dark, as it is on night truce servers to indicate night truce (there is NO night truce on the server though, it is a visual only)
• Robbers are ghosts and their camp fires are pumpkins

Featureset

• Mist is introduced as new feature. The mist has been altered and introduced in regular gameworlds aswell. Shared features between HaHu and later regular gameworlds are marked bold.
  • Mist is around each wonder of the world, for a total of 17x17 centered around the WW
  • Relocation into the mist is not possible
  • Incoming and outgoing chiefings into/from the mist have a changed big party bonus: -11/+11 reduced loyalty instead of -5/+5
  • Incoming catapult attacks can not target buildings, but will always shoot randomly
  • Incoming scout attacks are "less effective" (although it is unclear by how much)
  • Outgoing raids, attacks and sieges are stronger (although it is unclear by how much)
  • Combat simulator can not take these differences into account.

• Spiders and bats have a higher spawn rate (roughly 5x)
• Spiders and bats have triple combat strength
• Community goals are introduced. Community goals have been used for other special servers like Birthday Bash later aswell.
• Cages are more common to find
  • There are global server milestones, which can be achieved by the community as a whole.
  • After reaching a milestone, a reward is given to all current players on the server.

• New Achievement: Trick and Treat
  • Obtainable by adding someone, who already has the achievement, as a friend.
  • Presumably, Travian Team members were the "origin of the virus", but you can obtain it from anyone who has it
  • It is still obtainable

• New Achievment: Zombies never die
  • Was granted to all players in the end of HaHu 2019, as apology for the severe server lags in the beginning of the server.
  • The icon for the achievment was chosen by the community and resembles a zombie hand emerging from a grave with a tumbstone labeled F5.
