Every active Treasury exerts influence on all surrounding fields. Fields, on which pressure is exerted, are generally inside the kingdom borders of the kingdom that exerts the most influence, enabling generating tributes, annecting oasis and the kingdom-internal attack warning. If multiple kingdoms exert influence on the same field, it will be inside the borders of the kingdom with the most influence.
There are three exceptions:
- Oasis can be captured, if they border on the own kingdom. Then they are inside the capturing kingdom's borders, independent of influence.
- Capitals are always in the borders of their political kingdom, if it's inside the radius of at least one of its treasuries, even if the political kingdom exerts less pressure.
- The king and viceking can kick players of foreign kingdoms out of their area by attacking or raiding them. The kingdom will thereby lose any influence on every field of the defender's villages and cities immediately, see playerhate.
Influence Calculation
Every active treasury has a certain influence radius. It depends on the population of the treasury and can be seen ingame by hovering and keeping the mouse over an active treasury.
Population | 0 - 99 | 100 - 249 | 250 - 499 | 500 - 999 | 1.000+ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Radius | 2 | 2,5 | 3,5 | 3,99 | 4,5 |
An active treasury exerts influence on every village inside of this radius. The strength of the exerted influence depends on the population of the treasury village as well as the distance between field and treasury village. Also there is a percentage based bonus, depending on the amount of active treasures in the treasury village:
Treasures | 0 | 100 | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500 | 600 | 700 | 800 | 900 | 1000 | 1250 | 1500 | 1750 | 2000 | 2250 | 2500 | 2750 | 3000 | 3500 | 4000 | 4100 | 4200 | ... | 8000 | 8100 | ... |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bonus | 0% | 25% | 35% | 50% | 65% | 80% | 100% | 120% | 140% | 160% | 180% | 200% | 220% | 240% | 260% | 280% | 300% | 320% | 340% | 360% | 400% | 425% | 435% | ... | 800% | 825% | ... |
To calculate the influence of a kingdom on a certain field, the influence of all its active treasuries is added. The formula for the influence of a single treasury village is:
The game displays the influence as percent based number. 100% is the influece of all (possible foreign) kingdoms added.
Examples
A treasury on ( 0 | 0 ) with 4000 active treasures and 1200 inhabitants exerts the following influence on the field ( 4 | 0 ):
If there is an additional enemy treasury on ( 8 | 0 ) with 1000 inhabitants and 2000 treasures in addition to our treasury on ( 0 | 0 ), it will exert 900 influence, according to the same formula:
The game would display our influence as 63%:
Trivia
- The influence and the kingdom borders are recalculated every 5 minutes, possibly causing delay.
- Treasury villages are always within the borders of their political kingdom.
