The automatic transfer follows the following ruleset, which applies only for kings and dukes with at least one active treasury:

• If treasures are in the tribute fund of a village without an active treasury, they are transfered into the closest active treasury.
• If there are inactive treasures in an active treasury (overflow) and there is another treasury with free capacity, the free treasury is filled with overflowing treasures until it's full or the overflow stops, whichever happens first.
• Automatic transfer only happens between villages of the same player.
